Youngest Phish Phan

With some trepidation, a lot of advice, and crossed fingers, we took James with us to see his first Phish show at Merriweather Post Pavilion. What do you know - he breezed through it like a champ! The day also marked his first meeting with his Uncle David and the two took to each other at first sight.

We camped out in the shade until show time while he ate and slept. In the lot, we kept it low-key, people-watching with Uncle Dave and Aunt Sarah and visiting with Keith and Taylor (also gearing up for his first Phish show). Once we went into the show and found our spot at the back of the lawn by the big metal statue he just loved looking around at all of the colors and movement. We were joined at various points throughout the show by Nick and Quela, Dave Cullen and Jess, and Marcus Romano with his brother James. It was a big day, but with a lot of luck and a super mellow little man, we all had a good time.
