Udvar Hazy

On Labor Day Sunday we got together with Sarah, Matt, Glamma, and Grandpa at the Udvar Hazy Smithsonian Air & Space Museum Annex next to Dulles. James thought the highlight was Spaceship (don't call it a shuttle) Discovery. He also enjoyed the interactive computer screens where you can view each cockpit in a full 360.

After Udvar the rain moved our picnic plans to Glamma & Grandpa's covered balcony. Watermellon and cookies proved to be an effective motivator to get James to eat his fried chicken drumstick (not just the biscuit).
