Today we we became members of the newly reopened National Children's Museum. Previously open in NE DC about six blocks from our house they closed their doors just before we moved into the neighborhood in 2004.
They finally reopened at National Harbor, MD on December 14th and today was the soonest we were able to check it out (w/ Sarah & Oma).
This will be a go-to activity for years to come...

I have fond memories of the Children's Museum in its old location, particularly the fire truck and fire station which I'm glad to see is still around in its new incarnation. I'm glad to James is carrying on the tradition.
