Busy Week!

This week, James and I were quite the social butterflies, busy bees, or some such analogy. Besides facing a developing case of baby baldness and new-found hand discoveries, here's what we've been up to:

Monday - We met some neighborhood ladies at a local coffee house for a little Mommy and Baby time.

Tuesday - We had a lunch date with Jamie and her son Walker and Jennifer and her baby Peter, both from our BirthWorks class.

Wednesday - I brought James in to the office to meet my coworkers (last week James was introduced to Mark's colleagues at a lovely baby shower they hosted for us) and then went to my 6 week check up where we visited with our doula, Heather and our midwife, Whitney.

Friday - Mark, James and I had a rigorous schedule of daycare visits all over town.

Whew! In the end, we learned a lot about getting ourselves ready to leave the house, changing diapers away from home, taking strollers on the metro and, ultimately what we wanted from the caregivers of our precious little boy.

On a side note, the cooler weather provided ample opportunity to try out some new outfits...and we played with the camera at every chance. Here's a few of our newest pics (and new outfits):
