Reunion

Yesterday we got up early so that we could make it to a special event near the historic Uline Arena in our neighborhood. The neighborhood association (CHNNA) participated in a program to create public art from the defunct police call box stands. The one located near the Uline was unveiled on Saturday with artwork honoring the Beatles, who played their first North American show at the Uline. In honor of this event, James and Mark wore matching Beatles hoodies and drew quite a lot of attention for their efforts.

Going straight from the call box unveiling, we headed across town to the Birth Works reunion. Six out of seven couples and babes made it...it was really great to see everyone again and to meet their new little ones. While we were due in the middle of the pack, our guy was the youngest since he held out for two weeks past his due date. I love this video montage of our afternoon!
