So Close...

Look at that concentration! Baby James has been consistently getting himself on his hands and knees and rocking. He's also been trying to figure out how to go from a sit to hands and knees without doing a face plant on the floor. Some techniques are more graceful than others and he's still getting some pretty good bumps. After staying with James during our Valentine's Day get-away, Grandmas IJ says he's also trying to pull himself up in the crib. Mark and I went ahead and lowered the mattress just in case he succeeds...better safe than sorry.

Another new trick: drinking from a cup. He absolutely loves it! His face just lights up when he sees me take a sip and he reaches out because he wants to try too...of course, very little makes it into his tummy and an awful lot ends up soaking his clothes. I guess that's just another reason for having the rubber bibs with the cup at the bottom ...for catching the "runoff".

We saw Dr. Abdullah today for a regular well-baby check - weight: 18 lbs 12 oz, height: 27.75". Another set of shots done; next appointment is in 2 months and no shots!
