Silly Monkey

We've been doing pre-bed playtime with James since we started an evening routine at 3 months old.  Early on he seemed to be particularly fond of the Silly Monkey book.

"Five silly monkeys jumpin' on the bed. 
One fell off and bumped his head.
Mama called the doctor and the doctor said,
"No more monkeys jumpin' on the bed!"

Now we read that book every night as part of the beditme ritual.  It's been 6 months.  Think he'll pick a new favorite soon?

    Brian LOVES the monkeys too! We've been back to reading it again recently. I have been reciting the exact same book, from memory, Every Single Night..."I'll see you in the morning/for now it's time for sleep/etc.etc." since Bri was about 5 months old.. You may be living with the Silly Monkeys for foreseeable future. xoxox
