Abbey Road on the River

A wonderfully quiet Labor Day weekend...a virtual, "staycation" really.

Saturday, James and Mark played together while I worked for the first half of the day and we enjoyed the Armstrong's company for a spontaneous BBQ in the evening.  Sunday, we ran some errands and played at the playground.  Monday, we met up with Grandpa, Glamma and Aunt Sarah for the last day of Abbey Road on the River at the National Harbor.  Afterwards, we stopped at Rita's for custard.  The weather was fabulous, the beer was cold, and the music was great.

Alas, it was over too soon.  The end of the holiday, the end of the summer.

Back to the grindstone; three cheers for a beautiful fall!
