At last, it came! Mark and I have been preparing and making arrangements for months for Sarah's wedding weekend. We knew that we needed to provide out-of-towners with plenty of James time, but we also wanted to enjoy some grown-up time at the wedding reception. To that end, we brought James with us to the rehearsal dinner and stayed in the hotel on Friday and Saturday nights, had a sitter take care of him during the wedding until he went back to the hotel for dinner and bedtime (and over night), then made sure he made an appearance at both family brunches on Sunday. We ate, drank, and were merry; we had a FANTASTIC time!
Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Johnson - we hope you had the wedding of your dreams and are enjoying your honeymoon in Hawaii!
Of course, the order of business is...so what was James wearing? Well, we got him all decked out in a 5-piece suit and were thankful that he played along so well. His rocker socks and big-boy shoes were as much a hit as the fancy clothes. Look at this handsome devil!
(These are just the pictures from our camera...there are many better ones of James and the whole wedding that we haven't gotten our hands on yet ;)
P.S. If anyone is in need of a 24mo/2T 5 piece black suit we have one to loan!

What a fabulous day that was and Jamesie made a BIG hit! We also got to experience Oktoberfest right outside our door and James found out he just loves french fries. Can't wait to see all the wonderful photos that were shot this weekend. With much love, Grandma IJ
