ICE!

So there's this event?...exhibit?...tourist trap?...that is put on by the folks at the National Harbor.  They bring over Chinese ice artists to create a scene for the holidays and people line up on weekends to get a peek - at the tune of $25 per person.  Luckily, through Mark's connections we snagged some free tickets.  We decided to take James, even though it meant taking him to a work reception after the ICE! exhibit.  This years' theme was The Grinch Who Stole Christmas...and it was VERY COOL.  (That is to say, a balmy 9 degrees inside the structure.)  James had a good time I think...not that he had any idea of what he was seeing!
I must stop this whole thing! Why, for fifty-three years I've put up with it now. I must stop Christmas from coming... but how?

Then he slid down the chimney. A rather tight pinch, but if Santa could do it, then so could the Grinch. He got stuck only once for a minute or two, then he stuck his head out of the fireplace flue where the little Who stockings were hung all in a row.
He brought everything back, all the food for the feast.
And he, he himself, the Grinch - carved the roast beast.

And just one other video of James playing around at home.
