With a "Quack!, Quack!" here...

First item of business is the before and after haircut pics.  James was not only looking shaggy (not necessarily a bad thing...) but his hair was getting in his eyes and bugging him.  So we decided to try Cartoon Cuts to shape a traditional bowl cut from James' mop top.  How did we do?

Also on our "Toddler To Do" list was feeding the ducks.  We handed out about a dozen hot dog buns before we caught site of the "Do Not Feed" signs.  Ooops.  

A huge treat, we saw a mama duck and her babies.  They were so fluffy and cute, and much better at following instructions than our own duckling.  Just up on the mall was a kite event associated with the final day of the Cherry Blossom Festival.  We had a great time watching the kites swoop and fly, then we bought a hot dog from a vendor and got  back home for a nap.
