Southward Bound

IMMEDIATELY following the wedding reception, we hopped in the (already packed) car and headed south to Raleigh.  The Gajowski's were hosting a whole crew of guests for a combo Phish/Father's Day event.

As always, we had a great visit with the G family and assorted cast of extras...there were 4 toddler boys in attendance and we learned a few lessons in preparation for our September beach trip.

  1. It doesn't pay to over-indulge in grown-up time.  The boys wake early EVERY day!
  2. To protect the fun times, we need the outlines of a meal plan.  Even if that just means feeding the kids chips and juice boxes for a few days.
  3. Respect the nap! (Great for all ages.)
  4. We need a DVD player for the car trip.  Whew.
  5. It's going to be a blast!
Happy Father's Day!

Pool time!
Stories with Daddy.
Little boy shorts, all in a row; we can't wait for September beach trip!
