Granny Sandwich

What a week!  I had an opportunity to do some rush-work for a new client and worked like crazy from Wednesday to Friday.

On Friday afternoon, Grandma IJ picked up James from daycare and the two spent the day together.  For dinner, we picked up some moo shu pork and kung pao shrimp in Chinatown in an effort to staunch IJ's craving for decent Chinese food (which is largely unavailable in the fine state of Delaware).

On Saturday morning, we went to the Farmer's Market - which has reopened for the season.  By the time James woke from his morning nap, Granny had arrived to visit.  We lunched on MGM roast beef and turkey sandwiches.  When James woke from his afternoon nap, we all piled into the car for a trip to the Arboretum.  James rode in style, the filling in a backseat Granny sandwich.

After both Grandma's left for the evening, we partied at a neighbor's house.  What was supposed to be a farewell party turned into a celebration...that the family will be staying after all!

What a fabulous weekend!
